Music and atmosphere

I'm working at the art center tonight. Serving drinks at the festive friday event. There's a cool swamp rock band playing and I'm looking forward to hearing them. I missed them last year for some odd reason and one of my art buddies said it was their biggest crowd. I usually know a few people there and stick around after my shift to have a beer and watch the band. The last event was reggae and I chewed the fat with another volunteer for quite a while... turns out we know a lot of the same people and he rents a place from one of my coworkers. My world is very small.
