There are stories all over the web today about the Oscars. Who almost skipped the red carpet, who went to what parties and who wore what gown. You can even rate the best and worst dressed. Do any of us really care? I know that some folk are a little star-struck and even I check the latest in People Magazine once in a while, but this doesn't qualify as news to me.
I can't remember the last time I watched one of these awards shows or showed interest in the event the following day. I'm just not that interested in the lives of Hollywood "super stars". Although I am an avid movie watcher and subscribe to Netflix, I feel that actors are grossly overpaid and their lives overglamified. I just don't care where they eat or who they're shacking up with this week.
